While it’s impossible to make everyone like every change, shared understanding of the value of new ideas is the cornerstone of successful transformation.

We are grounded in strategy and pragmatism, having learned from both our successes and our mistakes. Our team has experienced the change process from all angles—as leaders, delivery partners, and recipients. This comprehensive perspective allows us to approach change with empathy and insight.

Julia Maillebiau

Julia brings over 20 years of senior communications experience gained as an in-house specialist and as an external consultant. A natural storyteller with a strategic mindset, she has extensive experience aligning internal and external communications during crisis periods, advising Board and SMT members on positive employee engagement, and providing support and guidance to HR teams.

Julia combines her practical experience with the latest academic studies and has recently earned a Master’s degree in Innovation, Creativity, and Leadership.

Having managed communications for large-scale change programmes, including relocation, restructures, and shifts in business focus, I believe effective change communications is not about finding compromises but reaching mutual understanding, fostering trust, and encouraging cooperation. To me, a win-win outcome is both achievable and immensely rewarding.

As an optimistic realist, I firmly believe in the power of human creativity to bring about positive change and in our innate ability to adapt and find solutions. My favourite question is “Why?" as it fuels my drive to understand things better.

My yoga teaching degree helps me stay calm in a crisis, and I love learning new things—from emerging technologies to different languages—so I really enjoy getting to know our clients and helping them come up with creative solutions to their challenges.

Julia Maillebiau

Nicola Bannon (Shukla)

With over 25 years of experience in retail and third sector marketing, Nicola has made change leadership and communications the cornerstone of her career.

Her journey has involved driving brand, digital, and strategic transformations within complex organisations and leading management teams and work forces through challenging restructures and financially driven reorganisation.

Listening is key to my approach; in change communications true transformation starts with understanding. By paying attention to the voices and concerns of every stakeholder, I bridge the gap between vision and reality; ensuring change is not simply communicated but embraced.

Listening also makes space for ideas.

By creating an environment where all perspectives are values, I foster a culture of creativity and collaboration, driving forward-thinking solutions and continuous improvement.

In both my work and personal life, I care deeply about equality and fairness. I’m passionate about activism and spend a lot of my time supporting causes that really matter to me. I truly believe that by working together, we can make things better.
